The island of the Jamaica has traditionally been known for its dazzling beaches, seductive off the beaten path attractions and not to mention it’s warm, inviting culture. In more recent years Jamaica has come to also be celebrated as one of the best of winter golf getaways. Set for September 25 – October 2, 2011 the International Long Drive Challenge™ is an exciting “made for television” golf event profiling some of the most powerful long ball hitters in an internationally sanctioned and approved competition format. This year, the challenge will once again be hosted in the beautiful resort town of Montego Bay at golf paradise, Cinnamon Hill. Those who qualify in regional and national events will have the opportunity to represent their country not only in a team event, but also in a double knockout individual event – men, women, and senior divisions.
