We’d like to thank you all for being such wonderful fans, it has been great interacting with those who have experienced the beauty and excitement of Jamaica themselves, and even those who still have it on their ‘To-Do’ lists.
Destination Jamaica is the only Caribbean brand to have such a large Facebook fan base and the only one this active across all scopes of social media. Through our Island Buzz blog, our Facebook Fan Page, three unique Twitter Pages (@AskJamaica, @VisitJamaicaNow and @WeddingsInJa), a Flickr Page and three YouTube Channels (My Jamaica, Vibes Jamaica and About Jamaica), we’ve sparked a relationship with the online community like no other. Not to mention our increasingly popular weekly “‘Pon Di Road’ in Jamaica” travel webisodes are the only such webisodes to come out of the region.
Before its official launch on May 10, 2010, our Visit Jamaica Facebook Fan Page already had 62,940 fans and has since then grown by 87,932 new fans to the landmark 150,872 fans!
