From October 13- 14, 2012 Montego Bay was the capital of the wonderful world of weddings. The Jamaica Bridal Expo staged its first ever event at the Montego Bay Convention Centre, showcasing some of Jamaica’s best wedding vendors and resources in The Complete Resort.
Bridal fashion, honeymoon locations, romantic resorts and culinary delights were all on display at the two day event. Exhibitors from as far as Kingston wowed the crowd with daring floral displays, unique decor and scrumptious samples of wedding cakes and dinner options. New Levels Decor, Rose Hall Weddings, Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum, Hermosa Cove Villas, J Wray & Nephew and Sandals Resorts were just some of the popular booths at the 2 day event.
Brides-to-be benefited from informative presentations by leading wedding vendors such as Tai Flora and All Wrapped Up. Both days of the event also featured a colourful fashion show from Bliss Bridal Boutique and Earl’s Fashions which wowed the audience with the latest in bridal wear. Setting the mood was Show Jam Inc and Jamaica Wedding DJ who provided musical entertainment as attendees walked the expansive exhibition floor of the Grand Ballroom.
Impressive décor and floral design could also be seen outside the convention centre. Exhibitors like Gorgeous Flowers and Rentals by Beyond Expectations braved the weather and transformed ordinary white tents into extraordinary reception and ceremony displays.
