Where to Stay: Tensing Pen Resort, Jamaica

Located on the western tip of Negril, Jamaica Tensing Pen Resort is the ultimate secluded getaway for romantics looking for a small, intimate paradise directly on the Caribbean Sea. In the early 1970’s, there was a dirt track leading from Negril’s Seven Mile Beach to the Lighthouse on the far west end of the village. One of the first properties to be developed on this track in the cliffs was Tensing Pen. This beautiful Jamaican resort has since then evolved into a unique destination Jamaican resort with a collection of just 17 wood, thatch and cut stone cottages of a varying sizes and increasing luxuries. Four are set tree-house style on pillars with outdoor showers below and bedroom above.
